An Act to Protect Injured Workers
Some employers engage in a number of forms of retaliation against workers for reporting injuries. Currently, no state agency has any power or ability to investigate retaliation complaints or to enforce the current anti-retaliation law. The bill would fix that gap in our law. It would empower the Office of the Attorney General as the state agency that could conduct an administrative investigation and resolve retaliation complaints.
