Jamie has worked to pass legislation including obtaining a $100k grant for substance abuse prevention and awarding $3200 for the recycling dividends program to maximize recycling, fund new bins, and facilitate collection. Senator Eldridge also passed legislation requiring industrial composting to be regulated by the Department of Environmental Protection instead of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) (which Governor Baker vetoed). Jamie also passed legislation to increase liquor licenses to increase economic development for Northborough.
