Senator Eldridge Announces Date for 41st Annual Middlesex and Worcester Senior Conference

This event will be virtual and will include educational workshops, resources, and entertainment.


Middlesex and Worcester Counties, MA – State Senator Jamie Eldridge (D-Acton) is proud to announce the date for the Middlesex and Worcester’s 41st Annual Senior Conference which will be held on Thursday, December 9th at 11AM for seniors and “friends of seniors.”

The Senior Conference is intended to provide seniors with a day of useful information, entertainment and educational workshops from expert guest speakers on topics including aging well, money management, mental health, and resources for caregivers and family members.

 “In 2021, I am proud that the Massachusetts Legislature continues to prioritize senior citizens. This has included increased funding for Councils on Agings (COAs), access to home care, and critical programs like Meals on Wheels. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the state government has provided financial support to our nursing homes, assisted living centers, and community hospitals,” said Senator Jamie Eldridge (D-Acton). “I look forward to having the opportunity to be with you on December 9th and to hear more about your concerns, ideas and how the legislature can further assist senior citizens.”

This virtual event will be broadcasted on local access TV stations across the Middlesex and Worcester district as well as on Zoom and Facebook Live. Presentation topics include Resources for Seniors, Social Isolation Summit, Stretch and Relax, Aging: Planning Considerations for Yourself and Your Family, Money Management, Music Songs and Sing-Alongs, Raffle Gifts and Q&A with Senator Eldridge.

Participants who register by Thursday December 9th will be entered into a raffle that includes over $1000 worth of gifts.
